Cheerios has done it again. I just saw a commercial that was nothing more than a montage of babies, many of them in disgusting situations (like covered with food or mud). There was no dialogue -- only two title cards, one that said, "More babies!" and another, "They're fun!" Yes, let's create human life because it's "fun."

The new worst of the worst...when I first saw it, I thought it was a SNL skit. But it was a real advert. Totally repulsive. Are they selling cars or parenthood?

It's for VW's....a couple have a beetle. Beetle is bouncing up and down, woman's preggo, so they go to the VW Dealership to trade Beetle for bigger car. Bigger car bounces around, couple with kids now trades for bigger car, repeat senario of bigger cars and couple returning with more & more kids until they finally they need to get a mega-monster hugh suv stuffed with a hugh pile of kids. Disgusting! So much for birth control / overpopulation. Just keep procreating so you can purchase bigger and bigger cars from VW. Made me want to vomit.

New Dairy Queen commercial. It shows a man and boy sitting in a booth eating. The man says, "When I was younger, I used to go to sports bars with my friends to eat chicken wings, but now I'm doing the dad thing, so I go to DQ."

I guess once you have kids, sports bars and friends are off-limits, right?

^ Same kind of theme in this nauseatingly sappy Johnson & Johnson ad from a while back.

I hate that phrase, "A baby changes everything." Because the implication is that they are good changes. But hey, I like my life just the way it is! So why would I want "everything" to change? Do people who have babies hate their lives?

Considering where I live, I would say yes and also that they hate their kids, because of the numerous parents I see focusing on their phones instead of their kids.
