One June 13th, I saw Penn and Teller in Vegas, and then I got to meet them after the show. (Immediately after every show, they go out to the lobby to meet everyone who wants to see them, and they're really good about allowing enough time for everyone who wants photos, autographs, etc.) They're such nice guys, plus they do a great show. If anyone else here gets a chance to see them, I highly recommend it.

I had them both sign Penn's new book called "God, No!" From what I've read so far, it's a really good book.

Penn is 6'7" and I'm 5'2", so I look ridiculously tiny next to him.

Teller is such a sweetie. I think I took him by surprise with how tightly I hugged him; I was really excited to see him!

I put the pics in two posts because last night I made several attempts to do it in a single post and the site kept crashing on me. I don't know if it was related or not, but I thought I'd do it this way just in case.

Good pics! I've never seen them, except on tv, but I've heard from people who have that they are really nice guys. It looks like you had a great time.

I love Penn and Teller. Great that you got to meet them and get these pictures! I was surprised to see Penn on The Apprentice this year.

I love them to bits. They've mastered what is, to me, the perfect combination for attractiveness: intellectualism, sweetness, and bloodshed.

I love their Bullshit series. The episode on Walmart was particularly well done. I love their quirky sense of humor and intelligence. I am with you on the perfect combination statement!

The PETA episode of Bullshit is my favorite, and it's actually how I first found out about Penn and Teller when I was 15 or so. I told Penn that when I met him, too.
I also really like his Penn Says series on Youtube. For those not familiar with it, he makes short (usually 2-5 minute) videos of himself talking about whatever topic is currently on his mind. Some of the topics are really serious (like his discussion of the ethics surrounding pain) and others are just fun (like the breast implant he keeps on his desk). They're fascinating videos, and I've learned a lot about Penn because of them.

By the way, Teller does talk a bit when he's meeting with people after the shows, in case anyone was curious. Unlike Penn, though, he's very quiet when he greets people, and I didn't even notice that he was talking to people until it was almost my turn to see him.

I was going to ask you if Teller actually spoke to you in my other post, but I forgot.

Great pictures!

I'm envious! I desperately wanted to see them the last time I was in Vegas, but there were no shows available during the short time I was in town.

Thanks for the info about the YouTube videos. I'll have to check those out.
