Ya, I know the feeling, I only have a facebook account because it's supposed to be a resource some hiring managers look at. In this case, I thought it would be nice to have an account somewhere that was only loosely connected to my real life affairs, so that maybe I could network with other CF people, etc, in some amount of peace.

I have an account with a few family members as friends but I never go in there. The only time I remember I even have it is when I get an e-mail that some family member connected to me. Guess I ought to go monitor what's happening, eh?

The closed one appears to be losing members. I first joined & it had about 45 members. Now it's down to 40. The open one is clearly gaining members. I first joined & there were just 9 but now there are 52. I'm very pleased to see the membership growing I do wish the members & mods of the two communities would just merge them into one. After all, they have the same name.
I have a Google account ready for use with my Nexus 10 tablet once I've saved up for it, & I plan to keep that account. I wish a single Google+ community for the CF would be more active and exceed the membership count of the one on Facebook (which had >2,000 members when I left).
