I've said that before. I have one friend who has a gorgeous daughter (who is now 4). She could be a child model she's so pretty. I think most children are hideous FYI.

Maybe he was just being nice. Maybe he didn't know what else to say.

I didn't. And not sure what about it bothers me so. Except that this kid was not particularly cute. And there is only one newborn so far in my entire life that I thought was actually cute. My nephew's first baby (now 2 yrs old and still pretty dang cute!). His new baby....not so cute. And he was a red, screaming scary mess when he was a baby too

I dunno.....the only thing I can think to say to even start a discussion is how revolting that sounds. Its just so.....personal or inappropriate maybe? Or not true in this case. I am a very literal person and he is very creative and what I say as 'cloudy" (meaning he thinks in the cloud, sort of like the iCloud and I think very logically and linearly) so what I say sometimes sounds accusatory more than inquisitive.

Actually, you have caused me to think! Maaaybe it's that we basically live CF since his kids live 7 hrs away and I am in denial. Hmmmm....

He has kids.. so he has one... or 2 it seems. I have a feeling this encounter sent him back to the "good ol days". I would be very careful. Hopefully he is over the whole kid thing, but watch it. I have never said anything like that, and I don't think I will unless the child is like SUPER MODEL GORGEOUS... which they usually aren't.

Yes, MrsWenn, I suppose THAT exact thought was in the back of my mind too. Going back to the incident he did seem pretty googley over this little baby. And I have said to him before "you need a younger woman and one that wants to reproduce" but he sticks by his claim that 2 is more than enough (twins) for his contribution......

This is all pretty new to our relationship. He lives here now and we mostly see my friends which are all kid free, so it really has made me question things. Its so foreign. I just can't relate. I do share the pics of my nephews baby with him because I think he is cute and I am happy that my nephew is happy being a dad, etc. But these last few months have really been different......

And he can't really change his mind now (I mean and stay with me and desire to breed) because I got "spayed" this year! YAY!!!!!!!

(Ok, I think I have mentioned my TL in nearly every post. I am starting to sound like the obnoxious gushy parents about their kids in my proudness of my sterility lol!!!)
