Edit: Nevermind, you got it.

Anyway, that looks like hell on earth, why do people subject themselves to that? There's no benefit for parent or child.

Seriously! The cats do a good enough job of pushing us toward the center of the bed!

Actually, you can insert a dog in there for most of those. Of course, when that happens, I get up and put them in their crates.

Made me think of my dog, too! The first one happens if I go to bed later than DH. Then the dog looks really surprised when I arrive, and shocked that I could possibly need some space to sleep, too!

Our ninja kitty gets in the middle and hogs up a lot of space sometimes, other times she nestles in very close to me though. At first we tried to stop this, but the only solution seemed to be to shut the door, and our other kitty is VERY accostumed to all doors being open...so we just gave in! Yup I'm a sucker for my kitties, I'll admit it. I actually love her cuddles, and her purring puts me to sleep. I never thought I'd feel comfortable enough (thought I'd either feel trapped or worried for her safety) but she wore me down! She basically becomes dead weight, she just sinks down in and isn't moving.

I could not imagine sleeping in the bed with a child though - wait I don't have to!!
