One of my newly-made mommy friends posted this picture on Pinterest and commented "SOOO Funny!!!"



THAT IS NOT FUNNY!!! It's horrific! Why in the world do people find the misery of pregnancy funny? Especially when they've gone through it?! This is miserable and horrible and one of the many many reasons I will never go through pregnancy. I have a severe fear of vomiting and I can't imagine the misery of morning (or all day!) sickness. ::Shudder:: This is from a professional photographer too - what the HELL?! Oh, and the guy in this photo - asshole.

What a horrible picture. Makes ME want to puke just looking at it. That man is grinning like a complete imbecile. Bah -walks away disgusted-

Ok, not going to lie, that had me laughing for a full five minutes. It's that shit-eating grin on Dad's face, totally oblivious apparently. If they're the ones going through it, and they have a sense of humor about it, I can go ahead and laugh, too; partly because he's funny-looking, and partly because... it ain't me!

Not funny at all, the agony of pregnancy should not be laughed at.
I don't understand why a woman would go through that shit while people don't appreciate the pain and sacrifices she had to go through.

Gosh I want to punch that guy holding that little girl.

What's not funny about self-inflicted injury??

I think it's hilarious! I'd much rather receive that kind of announcement than one that treats a pregnancy like a miracle. This reminds me of an Ann Landers column where people were debating whether it was fun or tasteless when a groom wore a gorilla costume and carried his screaming bride up the aisle. I vote "fun" and wish I'd been invited - finally, a wedding where I wouldn't have been bored!
