There's some guys body washes I really like ... I've never tried Axe or Lynx, but there's an Adidas one I really like, and there was one in NZ last time I was there that I LOVED. I agree, most girls ones make me smell like a drawer liner all day.

I wouldn't call it sexist, but I don't like how he's putting up with her crap to get sex and she's rewarding him for it with sex. Really promotes how dysfunctional relationships can be as if that is normal. Sends a message to young women that they can manipulate men with sex.... maybe it is a bit sexist after all?

What is wrong with rewarding someone with sex? Is it also a problem when it's the man rewarding the woman with sex?

Well yes, they can....... It's not just politicians and 'oopsed' fathers ...... ;) I don't know how many of my pals got their new kitchens as a result of a bit of sexual manipulation...

I use "man" deodorant. I like some of the scents, I liked Axe's chocolate, now my OH won't buy it because "it's for douchebags." Axe and douche have become somewhat synonymous and I don't know why, or how.

I just found it interesting that Dove and Axe are owned by the same corporation, yet Dove does stuff like 'The Dove Campaign for Real Beauty', and Axe does douchebaggy and objectifying stuff like this. I guess playing to both sides makes them the most money.

My manager at my former job, she traded lots of BJs for a new $20K tractor she wanted, and she was up-front about it, saying one morning after showing me the sales material on the one she bought, "God, if I never see that dick staring me in the face again, it'll be too soon!"

One of the morning news programs, CBS Sunday Morning, I think, did a segment on Axe. The demographic they shoot for is the 13-year-old puberty-riddled boy market, which was interesting.

Regarding the tractor woman: my eyes are rolled so far back in my head I'm able to see vertebrae. How loving and appreciative of her partner's sacrifices and labor.
