Nice work, douche. I'm pretty sure we elected you to fix roads and collect trash and hassle street vendors with stupid bylaws. But when it comes to birthing and feeding a baby, don't you that that the women who actually do it might be in a far better position than you to make this decision?
If anyone tried to lecture me about formula when I was exhausted, sore and bleeding after giving birth, they'd better be hoping I didn't have a fucking gun. Once again - get your damn noses out of my reproductive organs.
Reason 16,235 I am so glad I will never have kids. Because no matter what you do, you're doing it wrong.

Whoo! New York has a new solution to overpopulation! Let's starve the newborns! /dark humor and sarcasm.
Seriously, though, with how many times I've had my medicine delivered hours late or more while I was in the hospital and had no one to sign off on it, think of all the newborns who simply won't get fed because their mothers can't or won't breast feed and the nurses can't get them a damn bottle.
And people don't believe me when I say that anti-choice in one area leads to a lack of choices in all areas.

Oh, don't worry. Bloomberg is on top of that, too.

Anyone think that men that are violently pro-life are just seeking a way to actively control women? That's generally the attitude I see from a lot of guys that want kids so they can teach them to ride a bike and throw a baseball, but will leave it to the women to feed, and nanny while they go off with the guys.
I like Mayor Bloomberg. He is in no way an anti-choice douchebag. Sure he may tell people what to do, but usually his ideas at aimed at curbing taxpayer expense in a rational way - trying to stop the problem before it starts instead of throwing money after it. If this is a way to keep babies healthier and keep the taxpayers from having to foot the bill for another damn thing, then I have no problem with him advocating it. He can't force women to do it, and I don't see anything wrong with him supporting it.
Plus how long are these women going to be in the hospital. Pretty much two or three days at most with a C-section. Score one for the Post (Rupert Murdoch) for making it sound like this is something they'll have to deal with until the kid eats solid food.
