Hi everyone,
since a bunch of us are lucky enough to have sympathetic doctors, and people are always coming here to look for a doctor in their areas, we may as well start a list. If you've been sterilised or been able to get long-acting reversible contraception from an awesome, non-judgemental doctor, we want to know. Reply with your doc's details and I'll list them in this post.

I haven't been sterilized yet due to deductible issues with my insurance(Anthem), but Dr. Pradhan was ready to set me up not even two weeks after my consult.

We've found the NHS to be fairly good Crystal Mask. Specifically, The Ella Gordon Unit in Portsmouth. I've found the dedicated 'family planning' clinics to be brilliant in several places...many of them have walk in clinics and self referral , or just ask your GP to refer you ...

The following is a list of resources I received from the Feminist Womens Health Center in Cedar River when I asked if they knew of any CF friendly doctors. I omitted the clinics, since those are groups of doctors and don't specify who is CF friendly and who isn't. Except for the Lovejoy Surgicenter in Portland. I personally know of one person who has had her tubal done there, and have heard of several other CFers in the area who've had success with them.

I had my TL via HealthPartners in White Bear Lake 11 years ago when I was single. The doctor who did it retired right after I had it done but the whole clinic (nurses, scheduling, etc) seemed very receptive to the whole thing. A few easy questions from the doctor (what if you change your mind, what if you meet Mr. Right who wants kids, etc) and I was making the appointment! I no longer go to the clinic so no guarantees but if they were like that 11 years ago I should hope they didn't revert back to a must-have-babies-first attitude.
