So, whats the forum ettiquette if I read four posts from a newbie that are totally conflicting and sound like bullshit...the first says she has kids and cant cope (not a good first post for a childfree forum), and then she rambles on a few more time about other stuff, one suggesting that she doesn't have kids..

Should I just leave it so see what vomit-inducing crap comes next, or am I duty bound as a concerned citizen to inform one of the moderators.

Part of me wants to see what else she will write, like just for the fun of it...the other part wonders why she thinks we give a shit.

Advice??

(And before you say it - yes, yes, I was that little kid who ran and told on everybody)

:ugeek:

do you see the little exclamation point icon in the lower right hand corner of the posting? Click it and report the posting to the mods.

It's a spammer. Mods with the permissions for those boards just haven't caught it yet. Often they'll cut and paste posts from elsewhere on the board or even in the same topic to try and disguise the fact that they're only posting to spam the link in their signature. Those posts will be gone soon.

Well, when I log on, the bottom of my screen shows who is online, and always always always one of the "online" is "Google Bot" and I always wonder what the HELL the "google bot" is.

I think it's just the bot that adds pages to the search results.

You're right, Autumn. There are a few search engine bots who visit for that purpose. Google is here most frequently.
