I was wondering how you all showed society your disdain for children.... or do you?

I have a "Child Free by Choice" sticker on my truck, along with a "Bad Religion" sticker so I often get accosted in parking lots.... and i totally dig it!

I'd love for someone to sell these... the one on the right.

I don't actually have a "disdain for children" and I guess I don't wear my CF status like a badge or anything...I think those stickers are a little silly (but the one on the right is hilarious!) but I would have one with just man, woman and dog stick figures, just to show that I'm proud of my family, too, as much as anyone with children is. :)

We don't do anything that would attract any kind of negative attention to our vehicles; we love them too much to make them the target for vandalism... Yes, I said love. :) Although they may not be anything special, we take very good care of them. Heck - we just did a 2,500 mile round trip to pick up the new truck from a dealership in Idaho! :D

At one time, DH and I joked about getting matching license plates that said "Godless" and "Heathen", but knew that it would only bring trouble.

The way I live my life is all the 'display' I need......There's no need to rub their noses in it when they're already up to their armpits in it.....

We don't have any outward displays either. No one assumes that a couple in their 50s has little kids, and when I'm asked about grandchildren I usually say "hell no" and that shuts people up.

I have enough time and money to dedicated to many hobbies, travel and personal interests.
I'm in my early 40s and still understand fashion .
Don't have middle-aged spread, creative stagnation, or kindercrap all over my house & garden.
My mind is active and I enjoy staying well-informed about current events and new ideas.
I speak very little about children. They're not the first topic when I open my mouth...

I don't display my choice. Don't want to, don't need to - if someone asks they'll get a straight answer, but otherwise, just living my life is all the display I need. Lovely holidays, clothes devoid of sick stains, time to pursue a career and hobbies, cuddles with the cats...

I don't have "disdain for children." I actually just had this conversation with one of my best friends last night. He thought I hated kids, which isn't true. I dislike the vast majority because they're spoiled and bratty. I don't actively hate them, though. I love spending time with my favorite ones, and I love being able to hand them back when I'm through.

I don't feel a need to display my choices outwardly. If someone asks, I won't hide it, but I'm not going to make myself a martyr for the cause. My lifestyle does just fine in speaking for why I'm CF.

You are very brave to say things like this in the open, I am not very brave and I never publicly display my choice.

Not all the time. I don't feel the compulsive need to make society know me or my positions. Mostly I only bring the subject up if asked, or if in the presence of wannabe-child-spawners. Particularly annoying ones can tickle my troll instincts, at which point I rub it in their faces with abandon, but otherwise I don't make a big fuss out of it.

I never could understand the point of bumper stickers.
